I am a violinist currently studying for a Master`s in performance at the Royal Academy Of Music, having obtained a Mechanical Engineering undergraduate degree from the University of Cambridge.

Availability: As I am currently self-employed by availability is very flexible so I will be able to easily accommodate the requests of potential students.

Willing to travel: 5 miles

Experience: Since graduating from Cambridge in 2017, I have been tutoring maths and teaching violin privately, as well as teaching piano at a local prep school. My students have included primary and secondary school students, as well as mature students, and I am confident of teaching all abilities.

Qualifications and experience:

Maths, physics and engineering - MEng degree from Cambridge in Mechanical Engineering

Maths - A* at GCSE and A Level (both maths and further maths)

Violin - Grade 8 (Distinction); National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain (2011-14); Co-leader and leader of Cambridge University Symphony and Chamber Orchestras

Piano - ABRSM Diploma; Grade 8 (Distinction)

DBS (CRB) Check: Yes

Friendly, patient and knowledgable young man. Working well with both my 12 year old daughter and 15 year old son. Angus is accompanying my daughter on her violin grade 6 and working with her on her piano grade 7.
