Currently a first year physics student at the University of Nottingham, who is capable of teaching maths and sciences up to A level. I achieved AAB in my a levels and 9 a*s in my GCSEs so I am well versed in offering help with revision methods and strategies.
I see myself as an experienced and flexible tutor who has worked with kids of many needs. I make sure sessions are engaging and push the child academically. Some of my proudest moments include seeing a year 6 child who was struggling at school come to grips with the content and do well in her SATS.
My tutoring method includes getting to the strengths and weaknesses and focussing on a particular weakness per session, setting a small homework at the end. For those doing GCSEs and A levels, I like to use practice questions.
Also able to teach online at anytime (preferable due to the ongoing pandemic)

Experience: I have worked for Explore Learning for a year, building experience with kids of age 4-14 and a variety of SEN. In addition I have worked as a private tutor ranging from year 6 all the way to up to GCSE. Ive built a clear way of explaining topics and a style of tutoring as a result.
