My name is Paul and I have 14 years experience in teaching mathematics both in the U.K. and internationally. I qualified in 2010 with a 1st Class Honours degree in Mathematics Secondary Education BSc (Honours) from Edge Hill University in Lancashire.

Over my time as a mathematics teacher and Head of Department I taught a wide range of age groups which has given me experience in all parts of the curriculum and examination requirements, from Year 6 up to Year 13 . I have a range of knowledge and teaching techniques that can be adapted to suit the differing needs of the learner

Experience: My experience enables me to offer tuition covering all areas of the English mathematics curriculum including: A Level and AS Level mathematics courses (Pure, Mechanics and Stats, the new 2017 spec) , GCSE and IGCSE (at both Higher and Foundation tiers, 9 - 1 spec) and all of Key stage 3 (years 7-9). I also have in depth knowledge of how a student can maximise their marks on external exams, having spent many years marking and being familiar with GCSE/IGCSE/AS/A2 mark schemes. Knowing the small things that may be needed to squeeze out a few more marks that can make the difference between those grades.
