Muhammad Haider

I am a PhD candidate in Physics in the United States, specializing in Particle Physics and Cosmology. Alongside my research, I serve as a Teaching Assistant, teaching and mentoring over 100 undergraduate students each semester across recitation and lab-based courses.

I hold a Master’s degree in Physics from the State University of New York, where I achieved a GPA of 3.867 and received multiple departmental fellowships. Prior to that, I pursued graduate studies in Applied Physics at Stanford University (2018–2020), where I conducted experimental particle physics research at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory as part of a dark matter sensitivity study.

My academic journey began at King’s College London, where I earned a First Class Honours BSc in Mathematics and Physics, ranking first in my graduating class. My final-year project focused on Inflationary Cosmology, combining theoretical modeling with observational data critique.

Earlier, I attended Aitchison College Lahore, one of South Asia’s premier institutions, where I earned 5 A*s in A-Levels (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Urdu) and 8 A*s in O-Levels (GCSE equivalent). I had perfect scores in American SAT Subject Tests (2400/2400) and Advanced Placement (5/5) in Physics, Chemistry, and Maths II, and Physics B and Calculus AB, respectively.

I’ve been tutoring professionally since 2014, with informal teaching experience going back to 2009. I specialize in tutoring IB, A-Level, O-Level, GCSE, and university-level students in math and science. I conduct interactive online lessons using a Wacom tablet and Zoom screen-sharing, delivering tailored and visually engaging sessions that build deep conceptual understanding.
