I am a dedicated, nurturing and flexible tutor who is well qualified (20 years of teaching) to provide the motivation and the direction students need to successfully learn. My teaching style is direct and decisive, yet flexible in responding to constantly changing demands. I feel creativity and variety are excellent strategies to grab and hold students` attention. Throughout my career I have had the opportunity to teach Chemistry to a diverse group of students. I foster an exciting and engaging environment by using real-life connections. As well as this, I integrate various forms of technology and discussion to consolidate many important concepts. One of my greatest strengths is evaluating and meeting students` needs. I assist students by researching and incorporating engaging methods and resources. I am also an approachable tutor who has been able to build a very good rapport with my students.
