Information about Thomas
I am currently a science teacher at a Derbyshire school where I teach KS3, KS4 and KS5 (Physics only). My specialism is Physics but I am able to tutor Biology and Chemistry up to GCSE level.
I can provide help with maths skills/equations, understanding specification points, carrying out and explaining the required practicals and general exam technique.
Session can be tailored to suit the students needs and I can provide a large range of resources which target specific skill sets and content areas.

Availability: Weekdays after 5pm and weekends.

Experience: 3 years experience working as a teacher. Prior to this I worked as a research physicist for 5 year.

Tom has been an excellent physics tutor for our son who is preparing for his GCSEs. Tom has covered SO MUCH ground - a cram-packed lesson every time, which my son thoroughly appreciated (and, more to the point, ENJOYED!). Tom has been able to explain concepts in such a way that my son gets it first time round every time. He is patient and professional, responds to messages promptly and is flexible - all we could wish for in a tutor. Definitely 5* and we would recommend him without hesitation!
