I am a Chemistry teacher qualified in Russia and UK. My degrees include MSc Chemistry (Moscow), Environmental Biogeochemistry (Newcastle) and PhD Geochemistry and Palaeoclimate (Durham) and PGCE Kingston.
I have worked in a wide variety of schools from highly selective grammar (Tiffin Girls School) to comprehensive and independent including working with SEND & EAL students. For the last four years, I have been teaching GCSE and A-level chemistry at Guildhouse School (formerly CATs college) London.
My main strengths are academic knowledge, structured and logical approach, high expectations and attention to detail. My main style of teaching is through dialogue and active learning. I believe that with appropriate instruction and resources from the teacher and hard work from the student, everyone can achieve high results. During the pandemic, I taught online extensively and developed methodology for successful online tutoring.

Availability: I am available for tuition online or at my house (KT5), one to one or in small groups.
In some cases, tuition at the student`s home can be arranged.
