Information about Alice
I am an experienced teacher of French and Spanish. I offer lessons from beginner to advanced, primary school to A Level, and adult tuition. In 2013 I moved my language school to Ludlow from East London and I am very much looking forward to rebuilding my business in Shropshire! I currently teach French and Spanish in Shropshire as well as tutoring from home. This helps me stay up to speed with the changes in education. I am also an examiner for both the GCSE writing and speaking papers.
I am happy to provide references and data on previous exam successes if required. My lessons are engaging and challenging as I don`t like to rely on text books to do the work. Language learning should be interesting and fun! My particular strengths lie with GCSE Exam prep, as well as all modules at AS and A2.
Please contact me for further information on how I can help.
Availability: Flexible.
Willing to travel: Home Only
Experience: I have 11 years experience as a private tutor and 7 years working in a high achieving secondary school as 2nd in languages. I still teach in the classroom, and have 6 years experience teaching in Shropshire. I am a Specialist Leader in Education for languages and have worked as a consultant in other schools to support with meeting target grades. During the summer I mark for the exam boards for the GCSE speaking and writing papers which helps enormously when tutoring students heading for the exam.
