Languages are fun!

Hello, I am a qualified Language teacher and a native speaker of German and Russian, but can also teach French and Latin. I have a 1st Class degree in Linguistics and am very passionate about languages - I love explaining the rules of a language in creative and enjoyable ways. I have experience teaching German and French in secondary schools (year 7 up to A level), but also as a private tutor, and have a lot of fun resources to help with your written and spoken language skills.

I`m the right tutor for you, whatever your needs are - improving your marks in school or university, preparing for GCSE or A-Level exams, or just learning a language for fun. Children of all ages and adults are equally welcome!

I am a friendly, relaxed and patient person with a great sense of humour. I grew up in Germany (near Cologne) but have lived in the UK since 2008, currently located in Basingstoke.

Availability: Evenings and weekends are preferred, but other arrangements can be made, so please get in touch.

Experience: I studied linguistics and worked as a private language tutor in Germany before moving to the UK. I completed my PGCE in Swansea in 2010 and have taught German and French to all key stages in 3 schools across England and Wales, an experience which I truly enjoyed. At the moment I am working as a Quality Analyst for international companies, however I am also teaching German as a private tutor.
