Hello! My name is Megan.

I am a fully qualified, passionate and dedicated Art and Design teacher based in London, looking for students to tutor online or in person. I have over four years of experience in teaching students aged aged 11 to 19 (KS3 - KS5) helping them to explore their creativity, develop their skills, and find their unique artistic voice. I teach art and design in a secondary school in North London during the week days but am looking for students to tutor in the evenings and on weekends.

Throughout my teaching career, I have worked with a diverse group of students, tailoring my lessons to meet each individual`s needs and abilities. My approach is student-centered, focusing on fostering a supportive and inspiring environment where students can confidently express themselves through various mediums such as drawing, painting, photography and sculpture.

I hold a degree in Fine Art and have a PGCE qualification. I have participated in numerous art workshops and professional development courses to continually refine my teaching techniques. My goal is to make art both fun and educational, encouraging students to push their boundaries and discover new techniques and styles.

Whether your aim is to improve your technical skills, prepare a portfolio for university, or simply enjoy creating art, I am here to guide and support you on your artistic journey.

Availability: I am available every weekend and most evenings Monday - Friday.

Experience: I have been teaching art for the last 4 years in various secondary schools and am trained to teach both GCSE and A - Level Art as well as KS3 Art and Design.

I have a Fine art degree as well as a PGCE teacher degree in art and design.

In my spare time I still love to practise art myself. Most of my free time is taken up with capturing London on my film cameras, visiting the newest exhibitions or sketching.
