I am a highly motivated and dedicated tutor of Mathematics and Science.
I am enthusiastic about my subject area and love transferring my knowledge in ways that pupils can understand / relate to.
I work as both a tutor and mentor for pupils between the ages of 5-19, having an excellent rapport with both my pupils and their parents. I have three children myself, ranging betwen the ages of 7 and 15. At present, I am the managing director of my own education company having left the education sector of 11 years. I also have experience as a Parent Governor and Non Teaching Staff Governor. I am DBS checked (registered with the update service) and fully qualified to level 3 in Child Protection and Safeguarding. I am currently able to deliver online tuition.

Experience: I have been a private tutor of Mathematics and Science for over 15 years.
Whilst I have been Non Teaching Support Staff in a local Secondary School, I have experience of both classroom management and Cover Supervisory Skills. I have recently left the education sector of 11 years to start my own education centre.
I have expereience working with pupils that require extra support, and pupils with special educational needs. I have experience with Dyslexia, Dyscalculia and ASD.
Although I am not a fluent Welsh Speaker, I have expereince of tutoring many Welsh medium school pupils in Mathematics, and am very knowledgeable of the Welsh terminoligy for Maths.
I take an individual tailored approach to learning. Although I cover the work set out by the relevant exam board syllabus, I find that every pupil has individual learning needs and each learn in different ways. My determination, perserverance, patience and ability to think outside the box, allows me to transfer knowledge to the learner in a way that they will grasp and understand. I absolutely love what I do, and for me, tutoring isn`t just a job, it is a hobby.
I am a firm believer that every child has the capacity to learn if they are taught in a way that they understand!
