I am a native Spanish speaker with a degree in linguistics and many years experience teaching languages at a large comprehensive school in Devon. I am an experienced GCSE and A level teacher.
Since I have been tutoring, I have become quite knowledgeable in most of the examining boards, AQA, Edexcel and IGCSE Edexcel and Cambridge.
I have been marking for the examining boards for many years too and now, I am writing the content for GCSE pod of the new Spanish language Specifications, which will have its first exam in the summer of 2026.
If you need to pass an exam, I can definitely help you with that, if you need to learn grammar, I can do that too but if you want to converse and improve your accent, what better than a native!
Book early as I get pretty busy pretty soon.

Availability: I am available Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, either mornings or evenings till 7pm.

Experience: I am a secondary school teacher with vast experience teaching all key stages. I teach mainly GCSE and A Level students and over the past few years have achieved a very high pass rate. In order to understand better the expectations that the examining boards require from our students, I became an examiner myself and have been doing this job too for the past three years, working for AQA.
However, if you want to learn Spanish because you just want to communicate, travel, etc, I can help you with that too. I have also been teaching privately and have the experience teaching the language for fun or for business reasons.
