Information about Emma
Having completed the International Baccalaureate (an A level equivalent) in June 2020 I am currently on a gap year before university where I will be studying history. I achieved a score of 44 points out of a possible 45 in the International Baccalaureate, and all 9s or A stars at IGCSE level. I am interested in tutoring any students at GCSE level or below, in a range of subjects: for the IB I studied English, Maths, History, Physics, Latin and Economics so would be qualified to tutor in any of these subjects.
Willing to travel: 20 miles
Experience: I gained experience tutoring younger students in Maths and English whilst still in school. Additionally I have had experience tutoring 11 year olds in Latin and in Economics. Since leaving school, I have had formal tutor training in the form of a 2 hour course provided by "Action Tutoring": a charity I volunteer with who go into schools and tutor disadvantaged children in Maths and English.
