Xanthe

Hi! I am a Biological Sciences graduate from Imperial College, London. I have worked in coaching and tutoring for 11 years now and am here to help you with the following subjects:
Maths up to GCSE
Physics up to GCSE
Biology up to A level
Chemistry up to A level

I am a qualified teacher (PGCE) and have taught in schools for over 2 years. I have also tutored over 1150 lessons across different platforms, including in partnership with schools and am a GCSE examiner for Mathematics.

My sessions aim to build confidence so that the student can go into an exam feeling prepared. I like to start by identifying the areas each student wishes to progress in and help them to make a plan so that they see this is achievable. I hope to inspire interest in the subject and provide my students with the skills to pursue their subject further if they wish. I can help with ongoing tuition to aid class work or help you with specific topics and revision for exams. Whatever your level or aspirations, I`m sure I can help you achieve it!

NB: Cancellations must be made with 48 hours notice. This is to protect the time given to prepare lessons to a high standard. Any cancellations made after this point will be issued at my discretion.

Availability: I am available Monday-Friday for online and fave to face lessons. These can take place in the day, afternoon or evening.

Willing to travel: 5 miles

Experience: I have been working with children for 10 years both as a sports coach and tutor. I am a qualified teacher (PGCE) and have taught in schools for over 2 years.
