Information about Rebecca
I am currently studying Veterinary Medicine at the University of Cambridge and am starting my 4th year in October. I have just completed my intercalated year and graduated with a degree in Biological and Biomedical Sciences with a first.
At A level I got 5 A*s in Maths, Further Maths, Chemistry, Biology and Physics.
I will tailor my lessons to suit the needs of the individual. I will set some work at the end of the session to be attempted before the next session to see if the student has understood the more difficult concepts covered.
Availability: My working hours are very flexible.
Willing to travel: 20 miles
Experience: I have experience tutoring Maths GCSE and helped the student to achieve their desired grade. I am currently tutoring a student A level Biology to help them prepare to apply for Graduate Entry Medicine. I have a wide knowledge of the sciences and maths up to A level and Biology up to Degree level and am able to clearly explain difficult concepts as well as discuss techniques to use in exams and for revision.
I also have experience preparing potential Veterinary and Medical students for their applications by giving advice on personal statements and conducting interview practice.
