I am a graduate of King`s College London with a First Class Honours degree in English Language and Literature. I have a range of professional experience from working as an Early Years Educator at a Play and Learn centre to teaching English at a secondary school. I am now a freelance writer and English tutor, and have recently completed a postgraduate degree in Contemporary Literature.
I provide one-to-one tuition for children of all ages, from KS1 to A-Level, as well as adult learners.
I`m an encouraging, patient and knowledgable tutor. I pride myself on my communication skills and enjoy helping students to improve their reading, writing and exam technique. I`m passionate about literature and love bringing texts to life for my pupils through analysis and close reading.

Experience: I have worked as an English teacher at a secondary school, planning and delivering lessons for KS3 and GCSE pupils. I have experience working one-to-one with students as a private tutor where my achievements include improving exam results by 3 grades from mock to final exam. I specialise in teaching GCSE and A-Level texts and helping pupils to improve their essay-writing skills and exam technique.
My track record includes improving a students GCSE grade by 3 bands from mock to final exam (grade improved from 3 to 6 in new grading system).
