I recently finished a PhD in Biomedical Engineering at Imperial College London. I have strong engineering, scientific and programming skills.
I am originally from Spain, but I have lived in London for the past 5 years while doing a Master and PhD at Imperial College.
I studied my degree in Biomedical Engineering part in Madrid and part in the University of California Irvine (USA).
I went to a French school (Lycée Français de Madrid), so I am familiar with the French education system too. I passed my Scientific Baccalauréat (BAC) with Honours ("Mention Très Bien").
I am fluent in Spanish, English and French. I have an intermediate level in German (B1).
I am comfortable teaching any scientific/engineering subject, as well as languages.

Experience: Teaching:
• I have worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Imperial College London for the past 4 years, teaching several engineering courses including: Statistics and Data Analysis, Matlab programming, Signals & Systems and Medical Science. I have delivered study groups, coding sessions and laboratories.
• I have more than 8 years of experience in private tutoring. I have helped primary and secondary students with scientific subjects, but I have also worked as a Spanish teacher.
Academic writing and proofreading:
• I am currently a tutor at AcademiaOne, where I help university students with the proofreading of academic writing essays and research proposals.
• During my PhD, I have published several scientific articles in high impact journals. I have similarly proofread many articles from other colleagues in my research group.
Communications skills:
• I have given several talks about my PhD research to technical and non‑;specialists audiences in international conferences, poster presentations and in the IET 2020 Healthcare Lecture as the winner of the William James award.
• I have volunteered in outreach events to showcase my scientific research.
