I am a freelance professional trombonist and a graduate of the prestigious BMus jazz course at Royal Academy of Music (first class honours, July 2017)
I teach all brass instruments from beginner to advanced level, for any age.
I am available to teach a range of musical styles including jazz, classical and pop as well as teaching jazz improvisation (to any instrument/voice), music theory, composition and arranging.
My lessons always have each individual student in mind and aim to help them enjoy and encourage their music making and learning.
I hold a DBS certificate and have yearly safeguarding training.

Availability: Tuesday afternoon & evening.
Wednesday morning.
Thursday and Friday anytime is often possible.

Experience: I currently teach for Southampton University as a jazz lecturer and for Redbridge Music Service as a brass teacher. I have also previously taught at the East Barnet Music Centre.

I have many years experience of teaching trombone and trumpet privately to a wide range of ages and abilities.

I have a wide range of performance experience including appearances with the BBC Big Band. I have also worked in the west end, playing on Tina Turner the Musical and 42nd Street.
I also play on recording sessions at studios such as Abbey Road Studios.
