Adam

Hi there! My name is Adam. I`m a teacher, tutor and graduate of English and French with an honours degree from the University of Oxford.

I have been working and volunteering with young people in an academic capacity for several years. This has included tutoring Key Stages 1, 2 and 3 to students aged 6 to 16, working in British secondary schools as a supervisor and teaching assistant, teaching English as a Foreign Language at home and abroad, and even working with the Scout Association. I have mentored classes and individual students in France for exam preparation, and have upper intermediate level proficiency in French. I have developed strong teaching and communication skills, which I am keen to develop going forward.

When it comes to tutoring, I understand the need for differentiation and ensuring that students can learn in the way that is right for them. I vary my teaching methods and materials, always looking to make the subject fun and accessible whilst ensuring consistent progress is made. I am conscientious of the needs of individuals, and will always be there to listen as well as teach.
