Information about Alexander
Hi, I`m Alex, I`m from Lincolnshire but currently live in County Durham. I recently taught as a general teacher at a SEND school for 2 years and have a Master`s degree in Physics. I currently offer Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry up to A-Level and Biology up to GCSE. I can also offer Physics to degree level however it is best to enquire about this. I am currently planning to travel around South-East Asia for 6-8 months so I will be looking for online lessons only. My interests include football, golf, chess and reading.
Availability: I will be freely available on most days so I am happy to fit into your schedule and the times you are available.
Willing to travel: Home Only
Experience: I graduated from the University of Bristol with a Master`s degree in Physics and afterwards travelled to China where I taught English to Chinese students of a primary school age. I taught classes of 25-50 students over 2 years and planned 25 hours of lessons a week including setting and marking homework, preparing for exams and taking part in extracurricular activities. I also tutored secondary school students in Maths and Physics so I could prepare for my PGCE Science course at Durham University. After achieving QTS status, I taught for 2 years at a SEND school as a general teacher where I taught Art, Careers, European Studies, ICT, Media Studies and Science.
