Maths has always been my passion and over the years I’ve helped students at every level, from KS3 and GCSE right through to A Level, IB and university maths. I have supported students not only to succeed in their exams but also to feel more confident in the subject.

My lessons are clear, friendly and tailored to you. I break things down step by step and you can ask me anything along the way, because there really are no “silly” questions. By the end of each session, my aim is for you to experience that lightbulb moment and think: “I can do this now!”

To make sure you have everything you need, I provide a wide range of practice resources. These include past papers, worksheets, recommended textbooks and tailor-made mock exams created from past exam questions. This allows you to keep practising and steadily master topics in your own time.

Whether your goal is to achieve top exam results, raise your grades, or simply feel more confident in maths, I’ll be here to support you every step of the way.

Experience: I am a highly experienced Maths tutor with over 8,000 hours of teaching experience including more than 6,000 hours of one-to-one tutoring and a strong background in both classroom and online education. Until recently I taught IGCSE and IB Mathematics at the British School in Rio de Janeiro and before that I served as Head of Mathematics at an independent UK boarding school where I led the department and prepared students for GCSEs, IGCSE, A Levels and Further Maths.

In addition to curriculum teaching I ran the Maths Competition Club and the Gifted & Talented programme, preparing students for the UKMT, Kangaroo and Olympiad-style problem solving. Many of my former students have gone on to study Mathematics, Economics and related fields at Cambridge, Warwick, LSE and other top universities.

I hold a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics, a PGCE in Mathematics and an MA in Mathematics Education from UCL. My lessons are rigorous, engaging and tailored with a particular focus on helping ambitious students achieve their full potential.

I teach in English, Greek, Portuguese and Spanish supporting learners from a variety of backgrounds.
