Qualified primary school teacher with ten years experience of working in the state and independent sector. I am a patient, understanding teacher who focuses on making each lesson an interactive individual learning session. I ensure each lesson is a mixture of practical and written activities as children learn in a variety of ways. I specialise in the early stages of reading, writing and mathematics where creative teaching and patience is essential. I have a thorough understanding of the EYFS and National Curriculum. I have experience of working with children with additional needs and English as an additional language.

Prior to tutoring sessions, I will ensure that we discuss your aims and needs. Once we have decided on our aims and outcomes, I will be able to create a learning programme that is personalised to the needs of your child. If you would like your child to have homework, I am happy to provide additional work.

Due to the current climate I am also offering online sessions at a discounted rate.
