I am a passionate, successful art educator and Head of Art with 22 years of teaching and industry experience in the UK and in British International schools. I specialise in Fine Art: drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, installation and textiles.
I am educated to Masters level and hold a distinction in Visual Arts. I have won art awards and had exhibitions of my work in the UK, Australia and China.

Availability: Weekdays, weekends and evenings.

Experience: I have extensive experience in teaching and supporting students to achieve outstanding grades in their GCSE, IGCSE, AS/ A Levels, UAL levels 1-4 and BTEC levels 1-4 in schools, colleges and through online tutoring. Additionally, I am experienced is supporting students with portfolio preparation and their personal written study.
For the past 5 years I was Founding Head of Art and Design Faculty in an International school and set-up a thriving, award winning art department and permanent art gallery space. Previously to that I taught in UK schools and colleges, worked online and ran my own art studio, where I won awards for my own practice, which is Fine Art crossing painting, sculpture, printmaking and installation. I have shown my work in contemporary art galleries and in the prestigious Royal Academy London.
I work with each students individual needs and interests and encourage the development of their own visual voice through developing skills, knowledge, experimentation and risk taking whilst achieving the new essay assessment objects for their qualifications.
