I obtained my Masters degree in English in December 2014 from The Times University of the Year - Edge Hill University, Lancashire. I am passionate about English as a subject and my areas of special interest include the Gothic, the 19th century, poetry, Shakespeare and the supernatural - although this list is certainly not exhaustive!

In 2020 I completed my MSc Human Anatomy with the University of Edinburgh. I have experience in both anatomical theory and practical anatomy, including neuroanatomy, osteology and anatomy teaching. I have significant skills in feedback and assessment, planning and teaching development.

I have also undertaken Scientific Communication Skills training alongside the National Museum of Scotland.

Availability: Most evenings and weekends.

Willing to travel: 30 miles

Experience: I have tutored at KS2, KS3, GCSE and A-Level. I have undertaken my Education and Training Level III certificate, as well as an higher education teaching module as part of the MSc Human Anatomy programme at the University of Edinburgh.

I am patient in my approach and will work to the speed of the learner. All my sessions are tailored to the individual needs of each student.

I have academic and historical publications available on request, and also work as a public speaker, giving regular history talks for various museums and local history groups.
