Hi,

I have recently graduated with an upper second in BA Music (Jazz) from Leeds College of Music. I am aware that everyone learns differently and the importance of finding the methods that work for the individual. As my mother was a teacher for 30 years, I have some insight into how to tailor methods to work for different students.

While music is my first love, I also have a keen interest in literature, history and politics. Teaching allows me to delve further into these interests while also pushing me to broaden my knowledge in other fields.

I have worked in many different jobs, such as waiter, bartender, market stall holder, so I know the importance of building relationships with people. My experience in customer service has also equipped me with excellent interpersonal skills.

Through my experience of working in a primary school I was able to gain experience of working with children of all ages, both in groups and individually. I also have experience working with adults who have learning difficulties so I am very much aware how how to cater to individual needs.

Availability: I am available 7 days a week, most evenings are good but may have some prior commitments that I am happy to work around. Message me and we can work something out.

Experience: I have taken an excelled in public exams as well as twice going through both the UCAS and CUKAS applications. I have taught and mentored students for exams and taught the drums to students sitting graded exams.
