I started my career in teaching with the British Council after completing my Masters in English at the University of St Andrews and an RSA TEFL course at Basil Paterson College in Edinburgh. I went on to open my own language school in Portugal before moving into the textile business in the nineties.I have always taught part time throughout my business career and went back to teach and coordinate courses at the British Council from 2009 until 2015. Currently I am semi retired and teach adults conversational English online at Intermediate and Upper Intermediate levels.

Availability: Monday, Thursday and Saturday afternoons between 2pm and 7pm

Experience: 15 years experience teaching English. MA hons degree in English from St Andrews university. 8 years at the British Council teaching, examining and planning courses including and specialising in CAE, Proficiency and IELTS. Ongoing English tuition.
