Gaia

My name is Gaia and I am final year Master’s student at the University of Bristol. I just completed my MEng degree in Engineering Mathematics in which I am predicted a first-class honours result.
I was born in Italy and lived there until the age of 16 where I transferred to the UK and completed my secondary school education. I am therefore perfectly bilingual as I was raised by English speaking parents.
I am an ambitious and driven graduate passionate about mathematics and its applications. I will be commencing a graduate scheme in September in the Engineering sector for which I am ecstatic about as I will be applying all the subjects that I love and have excelled in throughout my studies in the medical industry. As much as teaching and sharing my knowledge, as a tutor my ambition is to pass on my passion for mathematics.
I am a confident person who comfortably adapts to new environments due to my strong communication skills and drive. This also comes from having experienced a variety of cultures from studying and working abroad from a young age.

Experience: I have tutored a small class of undergraduate students studying Italian as a second language, all of which passed their final exams.
In addition I have been helping friends and relatives studying mathematics from GCSE to undergraduate level.
