Information about David
I aim to provide a high level tutoring service in the three main Sciences covered in Key Stage 3/4 as well as offering a tuition in A-level Chemistry.
I have over 10 years experience in the field of education at secondary, college and university level and I am able to draw upon both direct hands-on knowledge of the curriculum as well as the best practice in effective instruction and teaching techniques to ensure that delivery of the tuition is effective and promotes progress.
I start all tutoring with a personalised assessment of the student`s literacy, numeracy and basic science knowledge so that a base-line understanding of what their individual needs are. This individualised snap-shot can then be used to frame the student`s tuition effectively and with purpose so they can achieve the best results over the long-term.
I have an engaging and easy going personality but with a penchant for excellence and a personal desire to see all young people reach their full potential. I look forward to working with you as your tutor!
