I am the Head of History & Politics at a top independent school in London. Our Summer 2022 A Level cohort saw 82% of our historians achieve A-A* grades, 80% of our politicians achieve A-A* grades and over 80% of GCSE students achieving grades 8-9. I currently teach Cambridge iGCSE History, OCR History A Level and Edexcel Politics A Level however I also have several years experience delivering Edexcel History GCSE and AQA History A Level courses. As a Y12-13 form tutor I am well acquainted with UCAS applications & personal statement advice and am willing to offer support with this process. Additionally, I have several years experience as an EPQ supervisor. In a previous school I was the Head of Most Able Education and as such I am experienced at stretching students to their very best potential. Having spent 7 years working on the admissions teams to two competitive private schools I am also well positioned to offer 11+ tutoring and interview practice for grammar and independent school entry. Students who are finding their studies challenging in the classroom often benefit hugely from personable and tailored 1:1 tuition and I am highly experienced, professional and friendly practitioner. I am available for online tuition on weekend mornings as well as some weekday evenings by arrangement after 6pm.
