Are you concerned your child`s learning has been impacted due to the Covid 19 pandemic? Or, is your child about to start school and you want to give them the head start they deserve? If so, I am offering 1:1 engaging, fun sessions focusing on maths or early reading and writing skills to ensure their success as they continue their school journey.

Availability: I am available every weekday after school (after 16.00), and on Friday afternoons. I can be available occasionally over the weekend should the need arise.

Willing to travel: 20 miles

Experience: I am an experienced primary school teacher with a specialism in Early Years and phonics teaching. I completed my first degree in Education Studies with English in Lincoln where I achieved a First Class with Honours, before moving to York to complete my Primary PGCE. I am Read Write Inc and Jolly Phonics trained, and have a proven track record in helping children to read quickly and successfully. In addition, I am Makaton Sign Language trained and hold a recent DBS and certificates in Safeguarding and Prevent. These and testimonials from parents are available for you view on request.
