Information about Rebecca
I am a qualified primary school teacher and tutor.
I have been teaching for 10 years and tutoring for 11.
I love teaching and as I am a trained actress, I can always make my lessons fun whilst learning - It`s the best way!!!
I have worked in two different schools in Huddersfield full-time and I have also done supply teaching, which means I have experienced many different schools around the Huddersfield area and gained a lot of experience.
Up until March 2019, I was teaching maths and English on a 1:1 basis, to 12 to 16 year olds, at Royds Hall Community School. I taught maths to 13 pupils at this school and they all moved up one grade or more.
I tutor from the comfort of your own home and I can come and meet your child before we begin any tuition.
I will tutor home-schooled pupils in their own home or over zoom - whichever is most convenient to you and your child.
Availability: Monday - 9am - 3pm, 6.30-7.30pm.

Tutored in maths and literacy.
Each child has either passed their exam or moved up grades at school.
I currently tutor 10 private pupils each week.
Taught full time in reception/KS1 class and shared reception class, at St. Joseph`s Catholic School and Manor Road Infant and Junior school, Golcar, Huddersfield.
Taught supply - Reception to Year 6.

Rebecca, Is an excellent teacher, very enthusiastic, makes learning fun, and has really increased the confidence level of my 11 year old son. I would happily recommend her to any child needing help.

My daughter had been struggling in Maths most of the Junior year. So I decided to contact a tutor leading up to her Sats in year 6.
Rebecca`s teachers both Maths & English, her lessons are hr long with a 5 min break (To discuss History lol)
Tutor hunt charge a fee for Rebecca`s contact details was a bit unsure about this at first being new to the scene.
Rebecca from the start was amazing within 5 minutes they had a great rapport. They had the same interests History & drama but it was the ease of teaching skills & my daughters confidence that helped her achieve in her Sats this year. Not only has it given her great confidence she might even like maths!!
Its not everyday you get a famous actress to teach your child.
Wishing you all the success this year Rebecca ;)
Liz
Tutors Response :
