I am an extremely successful tutor. I have been Head of Science and Head of Chemistry for many years at state Grammar Schools and at Independent Schools. My approach is to discern quickly where a student is having difficulties and to tailor a program to suit their needs. I use a variety of teaching techniques to make the teaching of A` level chemistry and GCSE chemistry, physics and mathematics crystal clear. My students appreciate this personal approach - and it guarantees success. Many students improve upon their predicted grades as a result. Often by one or two grades!
My interests are varied but I particularly enjoy flying! I am a qualified pilot who really loves aerobatics! Freedom in 3 dimensions!

So my daughter was having a bit of a wobble about whether she could meet one of her uni offer grades, so we found Geoff on this site to see if he could boost her skills and confidence. He immediately put us at our ease and we felt really confident that she was in safe hands. He is a very experienced teacher/tutor. He quickly assessed my daughter`s capabilities, worked through some tricky topics and exam questions with her, and was really honest and upfront with us saying after a few weeks that he didn`t feel she needed his help after all.
