I am a trainee solicitor at a Magic Circle firm.

I studied English Literature at Durham University, graduating with First Class Honours as a College academic scholar. I was awarded a Distinction in my two postgraduate law degrees (the PGDL and Accelerated LPC).

I am an enthusiastic and patient tutor who consistently receives positive feedback. I have experience teaching students with special needs.

Availability: I am available for tutoring online on the weekends and weekday evenings.

Experience: I have been tutoring for over 10 years. I currently tutor a GCSE student and volunteer as a Reading Partner to a primary school student.

Previously, I have taught weekly French classes and tutored a number of pupils at KS3 and in preparation for GCSE and A Level exams. I regularly help provide feedback on university and graduate job applications.

I combine an engaging teaching style with a focused, methodical approach, tailored to the needs of the student and their preferred method of learning. If the student is preparing for upcoming exams, improving exam technique and analytical skills will be the core focus of the sessions.

I will usually set consolidation work, and will always provide detailed feedback on homework, including essays.
