Hello! My name is Mihika, I`m a final-year law student with a passion for teaching English Literature and History.

I achieved top grades in both subjects at A-level and thoroughly enjoyed the process of exploring texts and historical narratives in depth. I’m well-versed in current specifications, mark schemes, and exam techniques - including how to approach exemplar answers and past papers.

Whether you`re preparing for GCSEs, A-levels, the LNAT, or navigating the UCAS application process, I`m here to support you. I also offer personal statement reviews and strategic advice to help you stand out.

In addition to academic tutoring which I have been doing for the past 3 years, I also have over 18 months of experience as an 11+ tutoring assistant and can help with the Verbal Reasoning and English components of the exam.

My tutoring style is tailored to your needs; I’ll work with you to find revision methods that actually work for you. Both English and History reward going the extra mile: thoughtful essay structure, wider reading, and sharp analytical skills. If you`re not sure where to begin, don’t worry - I’ll help you build a toolkit for success that makes revision more effective and enjoyable.

Before we start, I like to know your exam board, current topics or texts, and ideally review two essays you’ve written. This helps me identify where to focus our time - whether it’s strengthening argument structure, improving analysis, or boosting clarity and confidence in your writing. Lessons often include discussion, focused writing sessions, essay breakdowns, and detailed line-by-line feedback.
