Information about Anu
I am an enthusiastic tutor currently offering a range of remote learning options tailored to your child. Lessons designed to reinforce curriculum content taught in schools. I am a qualified teacher with experience of teaching Maths, Literacy and Science to KS2 within the primary sector and teaching Spanish and French within both the primary and secondary sectors.
I gained my PGCE from the University of Roehampton. I have taught at an Academy, a mixed comprehensive and also primary school. In addition to this, I have over 200 hours of private tutoring experience from various sources.
I am offer a fully interactive package online via Tutorful. Students that I have taught online in the past have typically make rapid progress through several grades in matter of months. Notably students who have received grades 3 and 4 in their mock exams in January have achieved grades 8 and 9 respectively in their actual GCSE exams later the same year. As I am also an accredited Goal setting life coach, my lessons incorporate a strong element of coaching the learner for a mindset of success and I work with the learner to overcome any anxieties that may exist around specific areas such as oral work within Spanish/French classwork/exams developing strategies with the child to build confidence.
Lessons with me will be fun, tailored to your childs specific learning goals and interactive, packed with opportunities to practice what they have learnt. I engage with students to find their individual way of learning and remembering new material. It is tremendously rewarding to see students progress and gain confidence! So what are you waiting for, why not book your first lesson today?
Here is a write up from a student whom I tutored for her GCSE Spanish exam:
"Throughout my GCSE course, I never had a Spanish teacher just cover teachers, and a very rowdy class that couldnt focus. We covered hardly anything in year 10, so by the end of the year I was achieving 4s in my Spanish mocks. That was a huge problem since I wanted to study Spanish for A level, and I needed a 6 to do the course. With Anus help, I improved my knowledge and understanding of verbs, learned tonnes of new and useful vocabulary, and improved my speaking massively. Yesterday, I was shocked to learn that I had gone from a grade 4 to a grade 9 in Spanish in the space of only months! It was almost entirely due to Anus help. She supported me throughout the whole GCSE process, and always tailored the lessons to what I needed help with. She prepared the lessons, and sent them to me before our sessions so I had the chance to look over them and familiarise myself with everything I needed. We spent a lot of the lessons speaking in Spanish, which meant that my speaking abilities improved massively, as well as my grasp on grammar and vocab. I could not recommend Anu enough she is fab! Even when we didnt have lessons, she was always there to help check my written pieces, and she was just a phone call away to help with anything. She is the best tutor you could ask for!"
Should you have any questions please ask....otherwise, I look forward to hearing from you!
