I am an experienced sociology teacher with an excellent record of results. I currently teach both AS and A-Level sociology for the AQA specification teaching education, methods in context, research methods, families and households, beliefs in society, crime and deviance and theory. In addition, I have also been an examiner so I have an in-depth understanding of how students will be assessed and what is expected of them in exams. I seek to help students grasp the rigours of A-Level sociology by aiding in the mastery of content as well as strengthening of exam skills in innovative ways.

Availability: After school on weekdays and during the morning/early afternoon on weekends.

Willing to travel: 10 miles

Experience: - Sixth Form Sociology teacher for four years (head of department in this role for two years).
- Sixth Form Sociology teacher in an outstanding secondary school (head of faculty in this role).
- Examiner for AQA (two years experience).
- PSHE and Health and Social Care teacher.
