I am an experienced History Teacher and SENCo with particular strengths in SEND and stretching willing and able pupils.

A passionate History Teacher who has taken children around the world to live and experience real history.

I aim to help children enjoy learning history but also understand how to use their knowledge effectively to formulate arguments and responses.

Availability: Flexible most evenings Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, Saturday. Have flexible working hours so with negotiation may able to negotiate day time tutoring dependent on needs. Please contact to discuss.

Experience: 15 years teaching and tutoring History key stage 3 and 4. Taught AQA and OCR specifications at GCSE.
Tutored A Level and GCSE AQA previously.
Topics taught: Germany 1870-1945, First World War, Medicine, Crime and Punishment, Tudors, local history studies, Russia 1880 to present, America 1900 to present day, Asia - Vietnam and Korea.
Marker for OCR exam board for 5 years.
Qualified SENCo so understand different special needs and differentiation.
Work currently with the home education commmunity.
