Information about Olivia
I am a practicing artist and experienced tutor, with a background in education. I currently work as Exhibitions Project Manager at the National Railway Museum in York.
Prior to this I worked as an art and design facilitator at a further education college in Richmond Upon Thames, alongside privately tutoring A Level art students.
I have an MA in Printmaking from Camberwell College of Arts and a BA in Fine Art from the University of Leeds. Alongside my printmaking specialism I have completed courses in sculpture, ceramics, Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop and sound art.
Availability: I currently have availability for evenings and weekends.
Willing to travel: 3 miles
Experience: I previously worked as a tutor and operations support officer for Future Foundations: an organisation that runs Summer Schools for 15 18 year olds preparing for higher education.
I later completed a six month traineeship at London Print Studio providing technical support, assisting skills based workshops and offering one to one tuition in a variety of printmaking techniques.
In 2015/16 I was appointed printmaking fellow at Northampton University, where I delivered workshops, offered one to one tutorials and assisted students at foundation, BA and MA degree level. Following this I worked at the creative arts institute, University of Worcester. In 2017/18 I worked as an art and design facilitator at a further education college in South West London, alongside my work as a private tutor in art.
I now work as a project manager in the Arts and Heritage sector. Places I have worked include Art on the Underground (Transport for London`s public art programme) and the National Railway Museum.
