I am a committed and passionate educator with 17 years of teaching experience and 14 years as a Curriculum Leader of Religious Studies, PSHE, and Citizenship. I’m known for being a strong, steady leader with a clear vision for excellence, and I bring that same energy into every lesson I teach.

Experience: I teach OCR A‑;;;Level Religious Studies with expertise in Christian theology, philosophy of religion, developments in Christian thought, and ethical theories, and I also have extensive experience teaching GCSE Citizenship.

My teaching is highly adaptive: I tailor every lesson to each student’s learning style and build strong relationships that help me understand how to unlock their potential. I specialise in supporting learners who struggle with cognitive overload or complex content, breaking information into manageable steps and teaching practical strategies to strengthen memory, understanding, and essay‑;;;writing skills. I have helped many students—particularly boys—make significant progress by creating systems to organise material, using visual and active learning resources, and ensuring revision techniques are personalised. This includes structured methods such as blurting, flashcards, and curated podcasts or videos from reputable scholars and young content creators.

I also have specialist knowledge of AQA GCSE Religious Studies—particularly Christianity and Islam—and I’m confident teaching other major world religions. I also have a strong track record of helping students secure grades 7–9 by transforming their approach to 12‑;;;mark questions through targeted feedback, modelling, and structured practice.

My goal is always to help every student feel confident, capable, and ready to succeed.
