Bonjour ! my name is Lily, I am a French and English language tutor and native speaker in both languages.

I am offering you online French or English conversation classes in a relaxed and friendly environment. The aim of my classes is to help you gain confidence and assurance while speaking in a foreign language. In our sessions we will discuss your passions, your projects, culture as well as current affairs. The content of the class will of course be tailored to your desires and preferences.

My classes apply for adults and children.

For children:
Ideal as a supplement to school classes where the work is often solely focused on writing.
Ideal for bilingual children - if you have recently moved to the UK and you don’t want your child to lose touch with their native/second language.

Ideal for adults:
-If you are required to speak French in your professional environment and you need some support.
-If you want to consolidate your foundations.
-Or even if you are just curious and want to get back in contact with the language.

You don’t need to have an incredible French, but a small base is required. Don’t worry, we will have a short session first to help me assess your level and to help me understand your specific needs.

Availability: I am very flexible. I am available from Monday to Friday and sometimes on Satuday.

Terms apply if you cancel less than 24 hours before the class, I will not be able to give you a refund.

Experience: After finishing my Acting degree, I started teaching French and English to children in secondary school, helping them with comprehension, oral practice and reading out-loud ‘with confidence’.

During the pandemic I moved to an online format. My students varied from small children to adults who needed some extra support in their professional life.

As a native speaker I can help you in areas a non-native speaker may not know about. I also use my acting training to help my students build trust and to gain confidence in their abilities.
