I am currently an experienced primary school teacher working in an -Ofsted rated- outstanding primary school in Ealing. I have experience in EYFS, KS1 and KS2. Currently, I hold the position of Head of English at my school as well as support in Phonics Screening Test support and KS1 and KS2 SATs support.
As well as teaching in a primary school, I have previously worked in the tuition centre, and tutored privately for the past 4 years.
All my tuition teachings follow the National Curriculum expectations as well as your child`s school curriculum/requirements. If desired, I can offer my students additional homework to continue to excel their progress at home.
Literacy tuition includes:
- Fine Motor Skills
- Letter formation/Handwriting skills
- Phonics Screening Test preparation (KS1)
- Basic sentence structure
- Creative writing
- Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar
- Reading fluency & comprehension
- KS1 & KS2 SATs Preparation (Reading, Writing & SPAG)
Maths tuition includes:
- Number formation
- Number knowledge
- Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication and Division
- Word problems and statistics
- Fractions
- Algebra
- Times Tables
- Maths Mastery Problem Solving
- KS1 & KS2 SATs Preparation (Mental Arithmetic Reasoning)
Please be aware that in some cases, I can offer small tuition groups. (Sizes dependant on discussion.)
The first session will be an assessment to see your child`s strengths and discussion of your child`s areas for improvement/growth.
Availability: Please message to confirm availability. All tuition slots to be confirmed once contacted.
Monday - Thursday: 6 - 7:30pm (Flexibility available upon request.)
Saturday: Mornings (Availability depending on location)
Sunday: All day
I will travel free of charge:
Monday - Thursday locally around W3 area.
Saturday - Sunday locally around HA3 area.
An additional travel cost may be discussed depending on locality of area.
Typically, I charge £35 per hour or £50 for an hour and a half.
