Hi! I am a recently graduated Biochemistry student (First Class Degree) currently undertaking a Masters in Neurobiochemistry. I am flexible with my approach to tutoring and try and design the teaching plan around the specific requirements of each student for a personalised plan. I have a good understanding of many science subjects across different levels of qualifications. I am familiar with AQA and Edexcel exam board teaching, in addition to OCR, both at A-level and GCSE.
Availability: My availability is very varied as I have a flexible work timetable. I am able to fit a session into most days at a time that suits you!
I do have a 24hr cancellation policy for any sessions you cannot attend.

Experience: Experience tutoring Primary, Secondary, GCSE, and A-Level students in Biology, Chemistry, English, and Maths. My experience of tutoring is both online and in person. Having overcome difficulty myself at points in my education I have developed an effective way of overcoming particular bumps in learning curves and unique methods of learning and remembering difficult information.
I have extensive experience working with children and am trained in child safeguarding both online and in-person through 4 years of working for an NHS mental health ward.

Ellen has been tutoring my daughter for the last few weeks and I am very pleased with her. My daughter Megan has spoken very highly of Ellen in terms of her knowledge and willingness to help her on subjects including pre research into topics in her own time to provide help for Megan at the sessions.

Elle has been a very patient, encouraging and helpful tutor. Our daughter (12) is very interested in biology, but is quite shy in class, so being able to have a session every week with Elle has been a fantastic opportunity for her to discuss and explore her interest. We have been very impressed with how Elle keeps the conversation flowing, and how she manages to pitch the information she provides to an appropriate level - she is also very good at checking with our daughter that she understands everything that is being discussed. We would definitely recommend Elle for anyone needing a biology tutor!
