I`ve been teaching and tutoring A-level Chemistry for 12 years, and have been Head of A-Level Chemistry for 3 years, as well as examining for AQA, Edexcel and OCR exam boards. I have an excellent track record with helping my students get onto even the most demanding courses, including medicine, dentistry and veterinary medicine at the most prestigious UK and international universities, so if you need help just get in touch.
I do my tutoring online, using a range of platforms and tools to give my students a seamless learning experience every bit as good as if it was in person. Homework is set and checked regularly to ensure that students are learning, and to identify areas where they may need more support.
I am expert at ensuring my students are enjoying the sessions and making sure they have a thorough understanding of all topics, as well as with how to apply their knowledge to all possible types of exam questions to achieve the best grade possible.

Dave is simply a brilliant tutor. When my daughter started her tutoring sessions with him at the end of year 10 she was “completely lost” in GCSE Chemistry. Dave was kind, patient, connected well with her (chemistry ‘dad jokes’ included) and within months had helped both her confidence and predicted grades rise significantly. Dave has been a huge help to our son, who had suddenly lost all his confidence.
