Hi I’m Elisabetta and I love teaching ! Since I was very young I used to help my uncle looking after children in her private school ! I tutor children and teenagers.

I am an Italian native speaker
Four years ago I moved to London to study English and I have never left.

After some initial time for settling in, I decided to put together the things I loved most. Ironically they resulted to be my language and communication.
Looking back I had more than enough hints, but revelation always comes last and I finally find my path when I took my CLTA for teaching Italian at International House London. Since then I`ve been teaching Italian as a second language and I`m still here doing it and loving it.

I teach Italian to all level: Common Entrance 7+, 8+, 11+ and 13+, Primary Level, GCSE & iGCSE, A-Level & AS Level, Degree Level, Pre-U, Business, Adults Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced levels.

Each lesson is structured on the needs of the students and on their goals. Classes are tailored to students interests, and I guide them through a process of relaxed and pleasant self-awareness. The aim is to create a stress free environment, give students confidence by respecting their time, revealing their strength, showing them their achievements and working with them in building up new knowledge.
Even though the main focus is on enabling the learner to speak, write and understand Italian in the most natural way, pronunciation and elements of Italian culture are important parts of the programme as well.

The communicative approach I use is based on real life situations and enable the students able to interact since the very beginning.

My lessons are preplanned and are based on games. Or regarding everyday routine! We play at volleyball, hide and sick , drinking teas, cards games, cooking etc etc

most of the children i teach speak usually French or Spanish as second language - they learn so fast !!

Experience: I used to work for my aunt`s private school in south Italy where I would help students with their homework and prepare them foe exams. After a couple of years I moved to Uk I`ve started tutoring children in north west London.
