Jeanette

Hi my name is Jeanette and I am in my final term currently training to become a qualified teacher. I have completed a BSc in Biomedical Sciences were I achieved an upper 2.1 and received a prize from the Institute of Biomedical Sciences. I believe that anything is achievable through hard work and determination. I set high expectations and use a range of strategies to boost memory including mnemonics, past practise papers and other learning aids.

When I was a young girl I had a tutor who helped me overcome my fear of maths. I would like to help others also as I understand the challenges young people face with school and achieving high grades. I would love to support your child by making learning fun and memorable.

Availability: I offer one-to-one sessions during the week. Group tuitions are offered at a reduced fee.

Willing to travel: 5 miles

Experience: I have experience tutoring students in maths, chemistry and biology. I have also aided with entrance exams for medicine. I have worked with children with down-syndrome and dyslexia.
