I am a secondary English teacher for KS3 and GCSE, in both Language and Literature. I also teach A Level Lang-Lit and Literature. I have now been teaching for 7 years so have a wealth of resources and have taught all the exam boards many times.

I aim to not only improve academic outcomes, but the pupil`s confidence in their own ability.

The first session will be offered at half-price to ensure we are the right fit for one another!

I encourage sessions to be held in a communal area with the parents present - whether that is all the time, or just to pop in and out.

All sessions and guidance will be tailored to the tutee, their ability and their on-going targets. The length and frequency of the sessions is also built around the tutees` needs and availability.

As a tutor:
- I will be supportive and work with them, not for them, to enable they are supported in order to achieve.
- I will work to understand the student and show them that they are understood.
- I will always be supportive and positive, to show them that they can reach their full potential.
- I will always be contactable between sessions via email.
- I will help the pupil with their current English work and homework; not create additional work for them.

Availability: I drive so can tutor in your home.
I also offer online sessions.

Experience: I am a secondary English teacher who currently teaches the EDUQAS specification but has also taught all other specifications.
Across KS3 and GCSE, I have taught a huge variety of texts, exploring both Literature and Language skills to all abilities (and SEN).
I also currently teach A Level Lang-Lit and Literature (AQA Exam Board) but can teach a variety of exam boards and texts.
All sessions and guidance will be tailored to the tutee, their ability and their targets.
