Information about Michael
I am a very experienced tutor/teacher with a wide knowledge of Examination requirements as I have been a GCSE and A Level Examiner for 20 years and currently examine for WJEC. I was Deputy chief Examiner for the OCR Examining Board for a Drama Shakespeare paper.
I really enjoy the one-to-one relationship and feel that I can develop a good relationship with students and help them achieve their potential.
I access to a variety of books/resources and a very patient and caring approach.My academic qualifications include a Teaching Certificate, a BA degree and an Advanced Diploma in English Literature.
I had some years enjoyable experience in a Junior School and, since retirement,have tutored many students with good success in GCSE Examinations. IMPORTANT. Due to a recent illness, I am only able to teach a few students from my home in Lichfield for the forseeable future.Michael

Michael has been very accommodating to fit my son into his schedule. My son appears to be understanding the subject better and looks forward to his lessons. My son always understands what is expected and all work is explained well and fully by Michael. Excellent tutor.
