Information about Kamran
I am a patient and friendly person who has a passion for engaging effectively with my students and enhancing confidence and success in their studies. I have been tutoring since I was 16 and my enthusiasm and love for what I do shines through the improved results my students achieve.
Availability: Usually available most times but feel free to contact me to arrange a suitable time.
Willing to travel: 2 miles
Experience: Having successfully passed my 11+ exams I was offered a place at Wallington County Grammar School , going on to complete my secondary school education achieving 9 A*s and 3 A`s at GCSE level. Additionally in my A Levels I achieved A*AA (in Biology, Maths and Chemistry.) I am a current student at the University of Nottingham (BSc Biochemistry.)
I take my job extremely seriously to obtain optimum results for my students. I teach via a pyramid scheme, starting off by building a solid foundation of subject knowledge, followed by my students being able to explain these key concepts thoroughly as well as polishing this knowledge with practice questions and regular assessments to improve exam technique and confidence.
On my first visit I will provide a short test for my students to assess their strengths and weaknesses, which allows me to compile a list of topics to work on. I also encourage regular assessments every couple of weeks to track progress which ensures all my students get the support they deserve.
