I have experience teaching across all primary age groups, with a particular passion and specialism in phonics. I offer support in phonics, English, and maths—whether your child needs help catching up, completing homework, or extending their learning.
I’m a friendly, enthusiastic, and experienced primary school teacher offering both online and in-person tutoring. With a strong understanding of the curriculum and a nurturing approach, I help children build confidence and achieve their full potential. As a mum of two boys (aged 13 and 9), I bring patience, empathy, and practical insight to every session
Availability: My availability is flexible—I can offer sessions after school, during the day when I’m not supply teaching, on weekends, and throughout school holidays.

I have a particular passion for phonics and early literacy, but I also work regularly with Key Stage 2 children who need targeted support to fill learning gaps, boost their skills, or prepare for the 11+ and other entrance exams.

Abigail is currently tutoring our 10yr old son, he looks forward to his weekly sessions and has become enthusiastic about completing assignments set by Abigail and also more focused and motivated on his school work. Abigail`s teaching style is strict but she also makes learning fun.
