I am posting on behalf of my daughter who Helen tutored for the past year. As parents we were very pleased with the progress our daughter made. Helen is a passionate and empathetic teacher with a strong knowledge of the subject. I have just sat my GCSEs and for about a year Helen has been helping me work on my English Language and Literature. We worked on the various texts that I had to study and exam skills to help me answer the exam questions in the best way. I really liked how she taught me and the pace was right for me. She made sure that we covered everything that I needed for the exam. She sent me home with things to look over every week and small tasks to go alongside my school work, then we discussed what I`d looked at the following week. She worked with me on how to prioritize the things I needed to study and it was done just for me. I haven`t got my exam grades yet, but I think she`s really helped me to do the best that I could.
